★Magic Kingdom·Tomorrowland

Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress
Walt's personal love letter to optimism and progress, performed at the 1964 World's Fair before moving to Disneyland and then to Magic Kingdom. The theater rotates around a fixed stage set with four scenes: turn-of-the-century, 1920s, 1940s, and a present-day finale. The same family appears in each, voiced by audio-animatronics, talking about the technological wonders of their era. The theme song — 'There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow' — bookends every act. The newcomer finds it dated; the regular finds it impossible to skip.
