Soarin' Over America
A return of the original 2005 Soarin' film after years of 'Around the World' play. Guests sit in suspended hang-glider rows that lift up to face a 180-degree concave screen, then fly through a sequence of American vistas: redwoods, Yosemite, Iowa cornfields, the Grand Canyon, the Statue of Liberty, Disney World itself for the closing shot. Synchronized scents (pine, sea salt, orange grove) come and go with the scenes. The feet-dangling effect is convincing; rear rows lose a little of the perspective.
