The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man

Opened in 1999 and a benchmark for moving-vehicle dark rides ever since. Riders board the SCOOP — a six-passenger vehicle that moves, rotates, and tilts in sync with 3D screens, real sets, and practical effects. The action is constant: villains drop in from sets, the vehicle 'falls' off a 400-foot building, fire and water effects punctuate the chase. Most riders need at least two times to catch everything. Still feels modern after 25 years.
